This external battery charger is designed to charge VP-8G batteries separately from the machine. The VP-8G battery can be charged directly when connected to the device, but with this charger you can charge a spare battery separately - perfect for having a spare battery ready for uninterrupted use.

PS: This battery charging station works with the home charger that came with your machine. If you want to run your machine on AC power while charging an additional battery at the same time, you will need an additional home charger. For your convenience, you can choose the battery charger kit option above, which includes both a charging station and an AC charger.
